Trials and Appeals

A critical attribute in an attorney is the combination of expertise and experience to not only begin a new case and negotiate it through to a settlement, but also, if necessary, follow the case through to a contested trial, and defend the result through the Appellate process, including briefing and oral argument. Attorney Stewart has successfully defended appeals in Connecticut's Appellate and Supreme Courts, as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the latter court being the Federal Appellate Court for New York City and environs, just below the United States Supreme Court.
